About JPG to PNG
Upload your JPG images and the server re-encodes them to PNG with high-quality settings. Compression is applied during conversion, so the output is usually smaller than the original. Batch conversion supported: up to 20 files at a time, 25 MB each.
PNG is lossless and supports transparency, perfect for screenshots, icons, and design assets. Conversion uses quality level 75 by default (the balance of size and fidelity); you can raise the quality or limit the longest side in settings. EXIF metadata is removed by default for privacy, while the ICC color profile is kept to avoid color shifts — enable "Keep EXIF" in advanced settings if you need it.
Note: JPG is a lossy format. Converting to PNG will not restore lost detail and the file will usually get larger. Use it only when you need lossless editing or an added alpha channel.
