Major email providers limit attachments to around 20-50MB per message, but a single phone photo is 3-10MB — a few scans can exhaust the quota or even get the message rejected by the recipient server. Keeping each image under 1MB lets a dozen pictures fit comfortably in one email, and they open faster on the other end.
This page presets a 1MB target: the server adjusts compression automatically to keep the best quality under 1MB. Scans, contract photos, and on-site shots all fit this budget; switch to 500KB or 200KB in settings for smaller attachments. JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC are supported, up to 20 images per batch.
I process dozens of product images for new listings every day. Now I drag the whole batch in, and it compresses and zips everything automatically — main images drop from 800-900KB to around 100KB. Uploading is so much faster.
